Because your health and healing journey is an individualized process and based upon your unique needs, I do offer “other services” that we can add to your customized plan, group program, or you may also purchase these other services a la carte.
Time is a difficult balance. Especially when you’re juggling all the things: family, work, kids, sports. I get it! I live it, too! Planning ahead is a healthy way to balance time and stay on track with your healthy lifestyle. All meals can be made without a lot of work. And you can stock your fridge and freezer with a variety of nutrient dense whole foods for the week ahead.
We will sit down to talk about what foods you like to eat and your family enjoys, create a weekly menu along with an organized shopping list. Pick at least two days during the week for meal prepping (cutting, chopping, cooking), prepare “grab and go” containers (another topic we will discuss) for quick snacks to last for an entire week or more. We will also look at various online options for menu planning, various apps, cookbooks, and more that can support your change to real food.
Today’s food marketing is quite sneaky! If you don’t know the meaning behind words being used on the back of a food label it can feel overwhelming and confusing, and we can be easily manipulated into thinking we are buying a “healthy” brand or option. Learning and understanding food labels is so important.
I will shop with you at your preferred grocery store. And with your prepared food list for the week I will teach you how to read food labels, identify replacements that are clean or find a healthier option. This will be a great nutrition learning and education opportunity leading you to become more independent in your own choices and shopping.
Wherever you have control over food—at home especially, then do it! Take another step toward a healthy lifestyle and make room to remove any foods, ingredients, oils and flours that are depleting nutrients. It does take time to learn how to read food labels, shop for clean ingredients, and build a pantry! Together, we will go through what you currently have in your kitchen and discuss ingredients to avoid and why, and offer any replacement options.
Essential oils are something some clients may want or need for their specific health and healing journey. I am happy to suggest or recommend oils for your individual needs as well as provide any helpful handouts and resources related to your specific symptoms.
Certain ingredients in our daily self-care can contribute to things like allergies, skin toxicity, endocrine (hormone) disruption, and more. I’ve partnered with Beauty Counter, not only for myself, but also for my family because of their commitment to using the highest quality ingredients. I do believe in their ongoing efforts to get better beauty into the hands of all.
In addition to Beauty Counter, I also support the efforts of other companies, and individuals who focus on safer, cleaner, products to use on our skin. If you need any help or support swapping to cleaner products, we can add a Better Beauty consult to your customized plan.
